Jessica and Adam

I just love Jessica!  We were great buds growing up so it was great to see her again and meet her fun husband!  She now has a sweet little bun in the oven and they are waiting to find out the sex of the baby until birth.  How exciting!  I haven't shot a couple in awhile, and holy cow, I forgot how easy it is to shoot grown-ups.  No chasing around. :)

In all honesty, I feel like my photography style is a little bit more modern than I portray in my family shoots because I feel like a lot of my clients have a more traditional style (not a bad thing) and maybe would think things like, "what, she cut our heads off in the picture?"  Well, there was no holding back with this shoot because I knew they had the personality for the kind of photography that I love!  Enjoy!

Boy or girl baby Phelps?

The pink balloon won the race.  Does that mean a baby girl is on the way?  They think it is a boy.  I can't wait to find out the sex in February.

I had so much fun!  Thanks Jessica and Adam!

Rogers Maternity Shoot

This was my first maternity shoot and I had too much fun.  I think maternity shoots are fun because you can be more creative with the angles.  Congrats J and CR and I can't wait to meet the little one!

Yeah, so see that water behind J?  Yeah, I lost my shoe in that.  Don't worry I saved it!

I had the idea for them to bring an ultrasound picture and was even more excited when I saw it because you can see the baby's face so clearly!

This location was special to them because it is where they had their wedding pictures done and right by their brother's house where they were married.  {Not to mention, this is the very dock where my husband and I discussed marriage before the official proposal}.

Thanks guys!  I wish I was going to be here to photograph your little one in February!
